Repeated targeting of one person, pile-on behavior, or attempts to intimidate someone into silence will result in an immediate ban, no warning required.

No Spam or Deceptive Promotion

We love that small business owners, stylists, and fellow bloggers read our site, but comments are not free advertising space. The following will be removed on sight:

• Links to unrelated shops, services, or affiliate pages dropped without context.
• Copy-pasted comments posted across multiple articles.
• Fake reviews, bot-generated text, or comments clearly written to game search rankings.
• Impersonation of other brands, influencers, or Styled Hanger staff.

Safety and Legality

Because a lot of our content involves at-home styling — heat tools, hair dye, nail chemicals, DIY techniques — we ask commenters to keep safety in mind when giving advice to others. Please don't recommend anything you know to be genuinely risky (unlicensed chemical mixes, expired products, unsafe tool use) without a clear caution attached. Remember that any tip shared in comments is personal experience, not professional guidance; for anything involving allergies, skin reactions, or medical concerns, a licensed professional should always be consulted, as noted in our Disclaimer. We also don't allow comments that share private information about another person, promote illegal activity, or link to pirated or unauthorized content.

Accuracy and Honesty

We'd rather have five honest comments than fifty vague ones. If you're sharing a product recommendation, a review, or a result you got at home, keep it truthful and specific — what you actually used, how long it took, what didn't work. Moderation Policy

Comments are reviewed by our team, and moderation decisions are made at our discretion. We may:

We don't moderate based on whether someone disagrees with an article or a stylist's opinion — only based on how that disagreement is expressed.
